On Tuesday September 29th, Manchester Community College had the pleasure to host a master of magic, and three times Entertainer of the Year, Justin Kredible. He put on an excellent show of slight-of-hand for the college’s enjoyment and the audience loved it. Thanks to the Campus Activities Board (CAB) the members of the college were able to view this great show free of charge right in our own cafeteria.
Justin Kredible was able to “wow” everyone with his fantastic feats, his witty banter (with the occasional risqué innuendo), and was able to keep the audience engaged all the while. Many of the college’s students, teachers, and faculty were present that night to witness as Mr. Kredible performed such tricks as making a bowling ball appear from a drawing, and psychically divining four audience member’s cards that they pulled from a deck (a deck I might add he handed to the audience from a bucket held by an extendable pole).
To give some background to Mr. Kredible, he started practicing card tricks as an alternate form of physical therapy, after he broke both of his arms trying to wow some girls with a daring bicycle escapade. When asked how he got his stage name, Justin Kredible, he said he received it from his mother when he was young (though he did not realized what it meant until years later), and says she is a genius for thinking of it.
All said and done, Justin Kredible put on an amazing show. When asked what she thought of the show, Manchester Community College student Alicia Reynolds said,
“I’ve never seen an actual magic performance show before so I thought it was exciting.”
The show was amusing, entertaining, interactive, and the audience got a kick out of it. Mr. Kredible is an overall fun person with a great personality and gift for showmanship. In the end, the show was just inkredible.
